Crepe Paper Mummy
A festive Halloween accent for parties, table settings and home decor!
Project Steps:
-
Step 1:
Cut strips of White crepe paper into .25" - .5" wide x 20" sections.
-
Step 2:
Place a strip of glue along the body of the doll pin, and wrap a White crepe paper strip around the body. Wrap a few strips in layers until you achieve a desired look.
-
Step 3:
Add two small wiggle eyes to the head of the doll pin, and glue more crepe paper around the head and neck. Make sure the eyes aren't covered. Alternatively, you can glue the wiggle eyes on after the head and neck are wrapped in crepe paper.
-
Step 4:
To make the arms for the mummy, cut two pieces of the White Giant Chenille Stem into approximately 1.75" lengths. Add glue to a chenille stem and wrap it with your crepe paper strips to match the body of the mummy. Repeat for the second arm.
-
Step 5:
Glue the arms to the body of the mummy. Once dried, carefully bend or move the arms to a desired position.
-
Step 6:
Place your mummy in the doll pin stand for display.
Optional: paint or decorate the stand.
