Spider and Web
A fun Halloween project for kids of all ages.
Project Steps:
-
Step 1:
Make the Spider: Choose the largest Black pom pon from the assortment. This will be the body. To create the legs, select two chenille stems and cut each of them in half so there are four pieces. Bend one piece in half, loop it around the center of the pom pon, and twist both ends together to hold in place. Do this once more on the same side, then repeat with the remaining two chenille stem pieces on the other side. There should be eight legs total. Bend the legs to make the spider stand. Add two small wiggle eyes to bring it to life!
-
Step 2:
Create the Web: Cut a piece of White crepe paper into a 6" x 6" square. Follow the diagram on the Spider Web Template found above.
Fold the sheet in half diagonally to create a triangle. Fold in half again to create a smaller triangle. Fold one side of the triangle to the center, and then fold the other side to the center. Cut any design you wish to create a unique web! Unfold and see your beautiful design!
Glue the crepe paper web to a piece of 8" x 8" Black card stock.

Step 3:
