Turkey Place Card Holder Project

Difficulty: Easy

A festive way to greet family and friends at the Thanksgiving table.

Other Tools and Materials Needed:

  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • Double-Sided Tape

Project Steps:

  1. Step 1:

    Using Turkey Pattern (Turkey Pattern.pdf), cut feet and beak out of Yellow Premium Tagboard. Cut throat-wattle out of Red Premium Tagboard

  2. Step 2:

    Glue large pom pon to yellow feet. Add 1 small pom pon on top of this for the turkey’s head. With the last 2 pom pons use a scissors to cut one side of each pom pon flat. These will be the wings. Glue the flat side of each pom pon to the sides of the turkey’s body.

  3. Step 3:

    Glue small quill feathers to the back side of the turkey. Glue yellow beak to the red throat-wattle and glue this to turkey’s head. Lastly glue on wiggle eyes and your turkey is finished.

  4. Step 4:

    Cut 3/4″ x 2-1/4″ name card out of the Premium Tagboard. Write name on with a marker and add to the front of the turkey with a piece of double-sided tape.
